Karala
How it works
A theme drops
Several themes are open at once — pick whichever one you like.
Draw it in minutes
You don't need to be an artist — just a little nerve.
The community votes
Anonymous head-to-head comparisons bring the best-loved drawings to the top.
Real drawings, start to finish
On Karala, every brushstroke is recorded — here are two real ones from the community, start to finish.
Theme: "A bagel in space"
Theme: "A balloon in the sky"
What we're building
Karala is a social drawing app built around short, themed drawing challenges. A theme drops, everyone draws their own take on it, the community votes, and the most-loved ones rise to the top — with badges, scores, and followers forming a small creative playground.
Who it's for
Not professional artists — everyone. Anyone 13 or older who wants to doodle something quick, unfiltered, and pressure-free in a spare moment of their day. You don't need drawing talent; you just need to show up and have fun.
How it feels
The nostalgia of scribbling in the margin of a notebook — warm, playful, never judgmental. There's competition, but no anxiety.
Karala isn't a big studio — it's a small, one-person idea. We wanted to turn drawing into something quick and fun, without taking it too seriously.
