Identity of the Data Controller
Your personal data relating to the Karala app is processed by Berke Çınar, acting as data controller, within the scope described in this notice. Contact: support@karala.art.
Purpose of Processing Personal Data
Processed solely for account creation and authentication, operating the drawing/voting/theme flow, detecting and preventing abuse and vote manipulation, reviewing reported content and moderating it where necessary, and fulfilling legal obligations.
To Whom and For What Purpose Your Data May Be Transferred
Your data is stored on Google Firebase (Google LLC), our hosting and infrastructure provider. It is never shared with or sold to third parties unless legally required.
Method of Collection and Legal Basis
Your data is provided directly by you, electronically, while using the Karala mobile app. Legal bases: being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract (KVKK Art. 5/2-c), the data controller's legitimate interest (KVKK Art. 5/2-f), and cases where your explicit consent applies (e.g. notification permission).
Your Rights Under KVKK Article 11
You have the right to: learn whether your personal data is being processed; request information about it if so; learn the purpose of processing and whether it's used accordingly; know the third parties, domestic or foreign, it's transferred to; request correction if incomplete or inaccurate; request its deletion or destruction under the conditions set out in KVKK; request that correction/deletion be notified to third parties it was transferred to; object to a result that arises to your detriment solely through automated analysis; and request compensation for damage arising from unlawful processing.

To exercise the rights above, you can send your request in writing to support@karala.art from your registered email address. For account deletion specifically, you can also use Settings > Account > "Delete My Account" in the app — see Delete Account.
